Fees and Credit

Our fees are typical for New London County.  We are not the cheapest, and we are not the most expensive.

Health care is expensive because people want high quality.   Everyone wants intelligent and skilled doctors and support staff, using high quality equipment and supplies, to help them with their healthcare.

Examinations range from a $37 periodic examination that is done in conjunction with a prophylaxis (a simple type of cleaning) to $65 for a comprehensive examination that includes charting of periodontal conditions.   We recommend that all patients have a full mouth series of diagnostic X-rays at least once every three years, so that a more thorough examination can be done.   A visual examination can not detect problems between the teeth or below the gumline.  An examination in conjunction with X-rays can find these problems.  The fee for a full mouth series of diagnostic X-rays is $110.   Once you have had X-rays and an examination, your particular problems can be discussed, along with the fees, and an estimate of any insurance coverage that you may have.

We ask for full payment at time of service. Billing and insurance processing cost us money, so if you do pay in full at time of service, we extend a 8% discount for payment by cash or check, and a 5% discount for payment in full by credit card. This means that you pay your entire family account balance down to zero on the day of the treatment.

We offer financing through Capitol One Healthcare Finance.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.

We extend in-office credit only based on our estimate of what your dental insurance will pay us directly.
